ARTIBIS eProcurement (electronic procurement or electronic supplier exchange) is a business-to-business purchase and sale system which allows vendors to self-register, upload their profiles and their available goods and services to a central database. The system also allows businesses to bid for available contracts.
Requests for proposals (RFP) can also be uploaded and automatically sent to the appropriate vendors. The system also has an e-Commerce system for direct electronic sales.
Additionally, the system has automated asset management and depreciation. Each tangible item purchased will be assigned an asset tracking code automatically.
The code can be exported from the asset manager to a label printer for asset tagging.
